Because we have been running consistently and steadily improving, it is time for a change in training. Friday's 1600m time trial, Saturday's 70 minute long run, and no day off on Sunday (30 minute run) will provide your body with a new training stimulus that will stimulate your body to make one last jump in fitness gains in your final races of the season.
Friday we will be on a tight schedule. You need to change ASAP (take your bags to 6th hour).
- 2:30 Be on the track ready to warm up. 2 mile track warm up.
- We will run 2 heats.
- 2:50 will be the sub-5:45 heat
- 3:00 will be the 5:45+ heat.
- 2 mile cool down on the xc course.
Sunday morning everyone needs to run for an easy 30 minutes. First thing in the morning before your day starts.
