Monday @ HRC cross country camp

Sorry, I forgot to take some pictures of Monday's camp. I should have pictures from the rest of the week... if I don't forget. Monday was a great start for campers. We went over the stretching routine, cals. #1, drills, and strides. Campers did a 2+ mile warm up to the start of the Raby 800m hill. Campers then did 1, 2, or 3 800m hills at a hard pace. After the 800m hills runners did 1, 2, or 3 of the Raby 400m hill at a hard, but controlled effort. After our hills we headed back to HHS. We finished the day by talking about keeping a training journal and what it takes to be a member of the 500 and/or 2000 mile clubs.
