Tuesday @ HRC cross country camp

Tuesdays camp was another quality day for runners. Runners did a 2 mile warm up to Wilkshire. To get ready for our workout we did a set of drills and 2 strides. The workout for the day was 2, 3, or 4 x 800m at a hard effort, with a 400m recovery in between reps. The goal was to run harder than easy pace, and to get used to being a little uncomfortable. After the teams 2 mile cool down back to HHS we had an hour and a half with Playmakers Good Form Running. Grant Robison and Mike Homan videotaped the group running... showed us some drills to do to improve our form, and critiqued our form. Overall the group has good form and were given individual tips on what to work on. Working on running form is truly a never ending journey. The sooner you start the better.
