CAAC Gold Jamboree #2

What a pleasant day for a cross country race... A little wind, mud, and rain to dull the pain. Exciting cross country weather if you ask us. Give yourself a pat on the back if you raced yesterday. Everyone had that fire in their eyes as they ran. It is so nice to see everyone so focused when they are racing. Not looking up and scared out of your mind as you pass us. Everyone is learning how to race and be in control of what they are doing.

Some inspiration for all is an interview with a Michigan based runner that ran in the Olympic Marathon last summer. Brian Sell was your average runner in high school and college and worked his way onto the US Olympic Marathon Team.

On another note... due to Homecoming weekend we are going to alter the training program a little. Friday will be a DAY OFF. That means we will have practice on Saturday morning at 9:00 am at the track. Sunday you are required to run 30 minutes easy on your own or with a friend. The updated training program for this week...

PLEASE HELP AND SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THE PRACTICE CHANGE!
